Project Background
After successfully completing the refurbishment and fit out of the 3000th Anytime Fitness Gym in Stroud, Vitruvius was signed up to commercially manage another Anytime Fitness gym in Hereford.
The franchise has a number of set requirements to ensure each gym meets the brand guidelines, as well as building regs and planning conditions. It was important to ensure the design and specified products within the fit out met those guidelines. Without formal sign off from the franchise holders, the gym wouldn’t be allowed to open.
For me, the main benefit was cost management. Working with Vitruvius gave me peace of mind

- Writing JCT contract
- Administering JCT contract (issue instructions and sign off valuations payment recommendations, start and completion certificate)
- Pre construction health & safety services
- CDM principle contractor
- Principle designer contractor
- Interviewing potential contractors
The project was completed successfully, on time and on budget.
